Initiatives

Career Counseling

The Career Counseling initiative, launched in 2018, offers tailored online and in-person guidance to help young people make informed academic and career choices aligned with their interests, strengths and evolving labour market needs. Through individual and group counselling sessions, mentorship and career resources, participants explore education and job pathways, build essential skills and gain confidence to plan their careers and enter the job market successfully.

English for Employability

In 2021, PESI initiated English for Employability to help young people improve communication and workplace readiness skills for today's job market. The initiative strengthens practical, career-focused English through interactive sessions, professional vocabulary building, interview preparation and real-life communication exercises. Participants build confidence to communicate in academic, professional and multicultural settings, enhancing their employability and access to opportunities.

Social Entrepreneurship Lab

The Social Entrepreneurship Lab supports young people in turning ideas into sustainable solutions for social and environmental challenges. Introduced in 2019, it provides a non-formal learning experience that blends training, mentoring, teamwork and practical experimentation. Participants build skills in problem analysis, social innovation, business planning and impact measurement. By developing real projects and learning from practitioners, youth gain hands-on experience to create responsible ventures and drive positive social change.

Sustainability Reference Point

The Sustainability Reference Point is an online guide that has supported individuals and enterprises in adopting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices since 2022. For young people and communities, it offers knowledge on climate action, circular economy, responsible consumption and green lifestyles. For businesses, it provides guidance on resource and energy efficiency, ESG practices and sustainable operations. Through digital resources and virtual engagement, it fosters awareness and drives positive environmental change.
